Question about Honor Mode Steam Achievement.

Since the last patch ruined my 100% Steam achievements for BG3 i am force to play honor mode if i want to get 100%. Now my question is: can i just blow up Gale in act 2 since there are also End credits afterwards or does it only count if you kill/dominate the elder brain in act3?

Given that blowing up gale doesn't unlock the golden dice, it probably won't count.

I just got to the "good" end on honour mode and no achievement unlocked even so not sure how you actually get it

I'm also trying to complete this achievement, but all the speedrun methods with Gale explosion don't work in the new patch

Just tested this out. Blowing up Gale in Act 2 in honor mode WILL NOT reward you with the achievement nor the golden dice. Most likely it is intended to beat the netherbrain in act 3 to get the achievement. Goodluck guys!

Did you do the after party?

Yeah. At least it's possible to reload the save file from the epilogue (which still says Difficulty: Honor Mode) when it gets fixed.

i just got the Durge ending and i didn't get the honour mode achievement either, i kinda wish i backed up my save to test out the other endings to see if its a specific ending you need.

also i don't have my golden dice

The same thing, I finished the game as the dark urge, conquered the world, received the achievement for the ending (Destroyed the world in the name of Baal) but did not receive the achievement for the Honor mod. In addition, I rolled back the save to check whether they would give an achievement for refusing to take over the world, but in the end I didn’t get the achievement, I was left with disgust and disappointment after the epilogue with the “party” in the camp 6 months later.
