"Game over, man. Game over!"
So, no save-scumming, no do-over. If you mess up 100 hours in, you start again.
No pain, no gain.
Didn't the community update say
"Should you so choose, you can continue your adventure, which will then disable Honour Mode"
Is it not working like that?
Yeah, we want to try to complete the game in Honour mode if possible, but we don't want to start over if we happen to die in the process. Just really love that all our scrolls will be put to use and we actually use every opportunity we have.
Hopefully someone who knows first hand will respond so you know for sure.
It is supposed to be like that. Which is awesome.
They should not. Aka dropping the difficulty in general. I see that as incentive and reward and a better solution than having the savegame forcefully deleted. This way you can decide to continue your journey or just drop and restart as you would if the savegame gets deleted.
It said that the Ruleset is set to Honour mode, instead of the standard BG3, which includes all the changes and additions of honour mode. "Single save" is also enabled, and you can't change the ruleset or the save files options.

Just remove it, works with any save in honored mode
