Like seriously. Be paranoid. Be scared. Every singles bosses have been revamped. Even...Mama Owlbear. Do not even CONSIDER fighting a boss whitout all your spell slots , fully buffed , with Elixirs,etc. My run almost ended because i thought i was smart convincing the 2 apprentices absolutists to avenge their comrade by slaying mama owlbear. I thought to myself...I might be only level 3 , but now theres 6 of us,against 1 of them , and a baby, and then....AND THEN... Papa owlbear jumped from the highest rope and CRUSHED Astarion , DESINTEGRATING HIM and ERASING him from existence.
So yeah. Be careful. Uses elixirs. Uses poisons. Always have a character with high perceptions to detect trap. And always think to yourself : A chest surrounded by 3 barrel of oil? Probably a trap.

I just wiped on Owlbear fight. At least I made it to level three. My first try ended when Kagha detected my friends cast and attacked. Hag, gnolls, who will kill me next?

Just made me remember wiping my level95 ironman char in Diablo 2 because I got distracted in RL...
Taught me that ironman is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamemode for someone who easily gets distracted :P

Had to use a speed potion for the first time but overall none died

Or just play a rogue/gloomstalker solo and 1 shot everything just like before, git gut or suffer. Thats about it, same as it was in divinity. Nothing changed, its still piss easy if you cheese

I hope this increase in difficulty is felt in the later half of the game, because then this could become one of my favourite games.

Stealth characters in everygame I've ever played have had a leg up on everyone. There is a reason the Stealth Archer is a build in Ultima or skyrim are top. It is the C in crpg problem I would not say Larians.
