Do it as late as possible. She is really hard at early levels and her new Honour Mode Boss Mechanic is that the Clones are now their own and do not die on one hit.
Second hardest battle in Chp 1-2.

The Honor Mode mechanic for the Hag is that she summons more clones every time you cast a spell or cantrip. The clones still die in one hit; Magic Missile is just no longer a viable strategy and you need to make sure to have physical damage classes to kill her.

Summon is once per round. Can still easily erase her with magic.

Also, the hag will show wet.

Alert is no guarantee of first turn. I had a character with +8 init and 16 DEX and she was still first. She has Alert. Wiki says she has a +7 init and 14 DEX so she out rolled me by 2.

She shows with any condition ... for example Bane.

yea the hag was a tough one, i can't remember what level i did it at but definitely did it quite early, maybe 4-5?

there are MUCH tougher enemies in honour mode than her

I did my honour mode as a bard, if I remember right, silence spells are very helpful vs her since it negates her legendary action, made the fight significantly easier

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Her clones still die in one hit. I just did this fight the other day.

It's worth noting the Hag fight is also optional. In-fact there's only a single fight in Act 1 that you're forced to do and it's the one where the goblins attack the grove.

optional but the rewards are definitely worth it

Alert isn't a guarantee of first in first turn, but it is a guarantee if you have 4 alert characters, you can erase the hag before she can do much damage. The danger is if you go last and all the hag illusions go before you. Then RNG can kill you. First turn erasure doesn't require being first in queue.

so just curious, is it still hard if you kill the hag in the house? Because as far as I know you can tell her that you will refuse her offer but trade with her( buy her potions). She will stay in the house above and wait there. You can then just have someone go up to her, divine strike her and she will start battle in the house instead of the underground.

For real? I'm totally doing that next time!

they still die in 1 hit, just dont use magic and its easy af

My strategy was to just not use spells against her and it worked. I guess that is not viable if you go caster heavy, but you can always class change.
