Or you've downloaded a *massive* patch to one of the most expansive and immersive games in human history -- a patch which includes tons of new video and audio content.
Computers aren't magic, you know?
Larian: "okay, okay, we listen" & adds (things)
People: complaining that patches with (things) are "too big"
I was the first guy complaining about this when the game was 151gb and my poor SSD was on the brink of dying, they ended up reducing game files to 121 gb with a patch, they actually listen to the community and this patch...This patch brought a whole epilogue to the game so those 10gb really are worth it
For me it actually is redownloading the entire game right now(130.3 gb), so something clearly went wrong with the update process.
Same here. And same occurred on previous patches (which themselves are pretty monstrous in size). Takes me hours to patch, or to uninstall/re-install.
And this coming from an unapologetic BG3 fanboy. Love this game. And understand how/why it's so large in size. That aside, however, something seems really off about the process by which patches are downloaded/installed.
