Can you no longer get the infernal robe by killing Karlach then resurrecting?

I saw in the patch that Wyll can only get it if Karlach is dead when Mizora appears. And that Wyll gets the punishment retroactively now.

I currently have both Wyll and Karlach in my party and wyll does NOT have horns. We are in act to maybe 12 or a little more done and so far everything is going good. He's still normal.

nope, they patched it in hotfix 10 I think or was it 11 i lost count. Easiest way to get it without mods is to spawn it using Fearless cheat engine. Just google "Z baldur's gate 3 fearless cheat engine" for cheat tables, grab cheat engine at www dot cheatengine dot org/download dot php

You can find codes at fearlesss CE forums (just google z baldurs gate fearless cheat engine, first page of the post, for both cheat tables and item ID's, most of items have heir id (UIID) on bg3 wiki (bg3 dot wiki, not knockoff one by the streamer dude whose name I won't mention).

Considering that Wyll knew something was off by the order to kill Karlach, I believe this to be fair ground to have some plot to trick Mizora.
