Poison the goblins party tub fail.

Well today - post patch , I tried poisoning the party tub of booz in the goblins camp several times. I Failed every time - even with invisibility spell I cannot poison the Goblins tub - tried with my Bard ( level 4) and with Gale ( level 4) who both have invisibility spell on them. The mechanic to add the poison is really idiotic - why do I have to click on the vat, then go into my inventory, then click and drag the poison over to the "combine" pop up window - and then before I finish combining, I get interrupted by a goblin confronting me - then I pass that "check" with a roll with either arcane or deception , but guess what , the poison does not actually get into the tub!! So, I have to go through the whole click, inventory, click/drag, combining process all over again and then get interrupted again with a different goblin questioning me and again the poison fails to get put into the tub each time- have tried 4 times now. I looked up what others have done , after failing a few times, and they do not seem to have the same issues I am having. What the heck!! If you try and throw the poison into the tub it says its 'interrupted". Obviously, the best way to kill a bunch of people when they are partying its to poison the common drink source - as expected by the writers of the game. However, the mechanics are so bad - its apparently impossible to pull it off - even with an invisibility spell. SO either today's new patch messed this up, or I am just so unlucky at the unseen rolls that allows you to poison the alcohol tub its ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated.

Hide and do it from the blindspot.
Invisibility is not needed.

Oh, good to know!

I was always under the assumptions -due to the combination popup- that it is something you have to interact with.

You can also just shoot an arrow of darkness to create a fog, they can't see you then ^^

I am in turn mode, hide failed immediately.. Also tried the minor illusion spell on my Bard . So after 3 more attempts I actually got the past the combine screen popup without being interrupted, and then used my bard performance check to "wow" the crowd as they drank. So, it must just be timing and luck to get past the goblins check/accusations which then allows you to poison their booze. I was going to try the throw from on top next, but my last attempt was successful.

just do it in turnbased mode, couldnt be easier.
