I can't change my character's appearance

Hi guys, so I've been trying to change my character's appearance with the magic mirror but it's not working for me, the menu opens and it lets me do the changes I want but when I press the "confirm" button, the game just freezes and it stays like that. I've made sure every mod I have is properly updated, so I just want to know if it's a game bug or if I may have missed a mod update or something. Thanks in advance!!

its a mod conflict clearly, not a game bug.

Normally, it takes LONG time for the operation to complete and there is no 'Activity' indicator to show that the system is 'working on it'.

It could also be a Mods issue. Or it could be related to the Crime Computations bug.

Best is to push the commit button on the changes, then sit back for 5 minutes or so and see. :)

I followed your adviced and let it sit while I went to do something and when I came back it was done! I'm just too impatient hahaha thanksssssss!!!!

Glad it was not a bug or Mod issue! :)

Don't feel bad about not waiting long enough. I must have canceled it out half dozen times before I just got up an got a drink and let it run. :)

Not a mod issue, came with the latest patch.
It's actually waiting for the game to regenerate the character portrait which is a low priority process, so it takes up some time. Silly, I know, but it is what it is.
Just give it some time.

It is a mod issue clearly, i dont use mods and it works fine for me.

With mods and without mods I've always had a freeze after confirm and it takes a minute to load back out.

Happens to me without mods as well, has been reported, and apparenty Larian is aware of the issue. Support told me it should be fixed with the next patch.

Some bug in latest patch makes the confirm hangs for like 40 sec on my pretty fast PC, so you maybe have to wait some more ...
But it works eventually !
