In the latest updates, there was mention about soap. So how does that mechanic work? Where do I get soap? I'd like to play without looking like I've rolled around in the mud all the time.

The toymaker in Rivington has a bath and some soap

You can find bars of soap at many places everywhere in the world (look of course around "bathroom type" rooms).

You can also always wash your chums with water. Easiest to throw a bottle of water besides your group (arrange them a bit in a circle) - the game will indicate where the water will hit (just don't hit anyone, that'll hurt).

There's some soap at the base of the bridge right outside of the goblin camp. You can access it by walking down the little plateau area with the worgs outside the camp, or from the ledge by the goblin kids poking the dead body. It'll be tucked up against the stone wall with a luffa, and a little wash basin. It's next to the creek. Once you have it, you can just park it on a water barrel in camp, and right click to suds up.

You can also get soap at waukeens rest. You can use it by right-clicking on it in your inventory and chose use and it will remove the blood from your character.

Okay I'm looking around Rivington for a toy maker. Is there like an actual toy store, or is it like a carpenter making wooden toys or something?

Oh wow! That's convenient. That's exactly where I'm at, when I alt+tabbed out of game, to see if someone answered.

Hmm. I still don't see any soap, and he only says the same line. Not selling me anything.

I have not used soap (in game...), but I have used a sponge. You just have it in the inventory and click "use", and all the blood disappears from that character.

After an update, I see soap in all the places where I would expect it. I guess for some reason, I wasn't updated.
