Gather them up, sprinkle them on the ground near the boss and start wailing away like your life depends on it, because it does. Chances get better if you have Shadowheart bring Command and Bless. Use Command [Drop] to make the boss drop his sword, so he doesn't butcher the Illithid too quickly, then bless the frontline for a scrap more hithate,
When the boss is around 40-ish health, run for the hills and light one of the tanks with a Firebolt. That SHOULD finish off the boss.
Just don't forget the sword on the way out.
You didn't say what your PC is.
Sin Tee has a video doing without savescum. I dare say even he had a take or two.
If you get Zalk to drop weapon(fairly easy), then save after Mindflayer and Lae'zel hit, then put all containers around him when at low health, and blow them up with Shadowheart Fireball, it's easy enough.
I have no idea how someone would go about killing the other 2? or 3? cambions that show up afterwards.... Whoever does it definitely deserves some praises though.
She doesn't have it prepared by default, but if you go into the screen for her spells, just remove one of the other spells and prepare command instead.
