is it possible to kill zhalk and cambions on tactician?

i wonder if anybody has done it or does it have cheese tactic maybe?

Yes, it's possible. No, I haven't done it, but I know others have. I'd check YouTube for videos on how to do it.

You need a bit of luck, but there are four nautiloid tanks around the ship. One near Shadowhearts tank, the others in the boss room.
Gather them up, sprinkle them on the ground near the boss and start wailing away like your life depends on it, because it does. Chances get better if you have Shadowheart bring Command and Bless. Use Command [Drop] to make the boss drop his sword, so he doesn't butcher the Illithid too quickly, then bless the frontline for a scrap more hithate,

When the boss is around 40-ish health, run for the hills and light one of the tanks with a Firebolt. That SHOULD finish off the boss.

Just don't forget the sword on the way out.

you can cast command twice and and even if you do they still deal decent damage

Use a chest to block the cambions from entering the fight. Zhalk is a baby, take his candy.

he has 195hp and i dont think its possible to drop his health to 40 in 6 turns because mind flayer misses a lot and lets say you exploded tanks but cambions have 50+ hp still so i dont see how its possible to kill them all.

The tanks won't kill them all. They'll finish Zhalk and the mind flayer off, and if done at the right time, drop health of both cambions, but won't kill them. I've usually called it at that point, and never tried taking the cambions out. I suppose the best chance is to keep "Us" in the fight, and conserve some spell slots for the last two.

Yeah, with a bit of savescum it's easy enough.

Sin Tee has a video doing without savescum. I dare say even he had a take or two.

If you get Zalk to drop weapon(fairly easy), then save after Mindflayer and Lae'zel hit, then put all containers around him when at low health, and blow them up with Shadowheart Fireball, it's easy enough.

I'm confused...people keep saying to get Shadowheart to use Command, but when I look at her available spells, she doesn't have it?

Press the "k" key and choose the level 1 spells you want. Command is one of them. Do this before start the battle.

The Commander is "easy" if you are willing to savescum a fair bit. (if he saves the command, gotta reload). I was able to kill him in tactician, but it was definitely not a "fair fight" if you get what i'm saying...

I have no idea how someone would go about killing the other 2? or 3? cambions that show up afterwards.... Whoever does it definitely deserves some praises though.

She doesn't have it prepared by default, but if you go into the screen for her spells, just remove one of the other spells and prepare command instead.

If you start with four custom players, pick up shadowheart and then Laezel. With four players you can take everyone down and escape without issue.
