Eh, if you put it like this, why don't we revive all corpses we stumble upon?
Jergal is using us for his own purposes, so keeping our party alive is beneficial to him, some rando dude is irrelevant.

you can ask Withers to resurrect a certain bard that Durge kills, and he politely refuses. I don't think Withers cares about resurrecting anyone other than the party

Ask Withers to show hirelings, maybe there is chance Mayrina's husband is there. Imagine: Ethel was undercover Absolute agent. Husband wanna avenge but can't cause Ethel is killed by Tav in Baldur's Gate. So he decides avenge the Absolute.

Also why can’t we ask the Mythic carrion to at least bring her husband mind back like Trumbo? Sure he would be stinking and all but Mayrina would have taken him nevertheless.

Why do you think he has no brain? He just can't speak.

If you start asking these questions a lot of stuff in the game makes no sense, just like how the original Fallout 3 ending was where your mutant ally who was immune to radiation refused to go to the radioactive room to not steal your thunder lol, so your main character had to kill himself just because .

You aren’t supposed to be asking such inconvenient questions

Yeah, why do they need all that drama, why can't Eagles drop the Ring to Orodruin?

I mean in the BG3 world there are millions of way to rezz someone lol, you’d wonder why anyone is even bothered crying when their friend dies when they can just go and buy a few scrolls of rezz from the local store and rezz them in a min. They are dirty cheap anyways .

Or any half decent cleric

I mean you’d think that in that world people will keep rezz scrolls at hand all the time everywhere just as people in our world keeps first aid kits . There should be emergency boxes with rezz scrolls available at your local stores as well as any facility

Because Withers, well his true self, has an agenda.

That won't work because her husband had been turned to undeath already.

No way, it will bring economics to ruin. High Lord and Protector Gortash personally approves all acts of reviving (there are of course Shadow Clerics - you told me: guys in grey robes that's why they are Shadow; but it's expensive cause illegal and you have to know ways).

In the forgotten realms resurrection is quite expensive. They were made cheap for the vidya games, but lorewise rezzing is expensive and rare, and on the TT it's quite commonly a bit risky.
Revivify for example consumes a diamond worth 300gp. It can't bring back people who died of old age and it can't restore lost bodyparts. And there's the matter of a cleric or paladin being there to cast it, as lorewise only those can use the scroll.
BG3 took quite a few liberties to make more enjoyable gameplay experience.
And 300gp is pretty much a years worth of modest lifestyle expenses...there aren't that many who could easily afford that.
So BG3 gives a quite wrong impression of that aspect.

Nah, we know DnD lore and reality a bit. We are just joking about BG3 and a little bit teasing some people .
