There you go :3
(Also the actual Elminster could obliterate your entire party before you get a single action in, then go and solo the campaign in an afternoon without so much as getting a spec of dust on his robes, then go home and enjoy a nice cup of tea)
Elminster has both.
And I don't think he particularly cares about one of probably hundreds of simulacrums or the 1500 gold it takes to make a new one.
If it wasn't a hobby, he woulndn't have enemies (anymore) :)
Edit: Grrr just showed that use to dm games, feel like a nerd
Fortunately, you got his simulacrum, not his clone.
And anyway, the real reward are the friends you meet and kill along the way.
