Confronting the Nightsong as a Cleric Of Selûne makes me feel like i never was a follower of Selûne at all

Knowing the last step for Shadowheart to become a Dark Justiciar is to kill a Selûnite
Meeting the Nightsong seeing she is not only a Asimar but the very Daughter of Selûne herself.

So what can i say as a Cleric Of Selûne deciding Shadowhearts fate knowing all this?

Ah yes i’ve come all this way to Endorse my sharran companion to kill the child of the god i worship.

Yea it’s clunky . A lot of stuff like this doesn’t make sense but sadly the only difference between subclasses , classes and races in the game in general are few RP dialogue lines who never do anything special , just there for flavor.

Same goes if you are Mystra cleric and your interactions with Gale are almost non existent. You can answer him something like “Wait, you mean you made love to MY goddess?” but his reaction is overall the same as if you just said “So you made love to a goddess?” As the default answer.

Same goes if you play Gith and your interactions with Vlakith are about the same than if you play human just some text flavor.

A lot of missed opportunities but it is what it is

You're placing your faith in your god that she will guide Shadowheart to defy Shar and do the right thing. Unless you want he to kill Nightsong then you are defying your own god as a matter of personal choice.

Exactly i really think its odd that they didn’t put more time and love for these interactions and especially those that play a Essential part of the entire game

This is the type of things i would love to see improved in the future

Out of curiosity. There are no fallen clerics are there? Could you could kill the Nightsong and go on merrily healing in the name of Selune?

I have played dark urge has a few classes now, cause some of the urge options get warded differently dpeebndinhg on class and vic,

Letts just saw the va for the urge did a top notch job in all outcomes.
