Why can't I send dead bodies to the camp chest no more?

I wanted to beat the game with Minthara in my party but I really didn't want to kill all the tieflings at the grove. So I compromised by killing Minthara and then dragging her body around in Lae'zel's backpack. When she got to heavy I put Minthara in her bed, which was the camp chest and would take her out and show her the sights of where the party has been before sending her back to bed. But now the option to store the body in my camp chest isn't an option any more? Why was this highly useful feature removed. It's really cramping how I like to play my games with a slight bit of depravity and dark humor. Please restore it back Larian.

Not sure what's wrong, but I have her in my camp chest just fine. I'm pretty sure you have to drag&drop, can't send it.

I put my animate dead fodder in crates, and then send to camp.

why is the talking to people part of the game so bad?

I'm not playing a Necromancer playthrough but that is on my to do list. Storing dead bodies in the chest is a great idea for when I go through with that character play through! I just gotta decide between a Drow Necromancer, a Deep Gnome necromancer or a Githyanki necromancer. Is there a race you recommend I play as for a Necromancer?

Drow is cool but I wouldn't pick the Lolth sworn. Honesty human is probably the correct depraved race to be a necromancer. As to your issue with the bodies that sucks but I do love your morbid creativity.
