Baldur's Gate 3

Vezi statistici:
Actor versus Performer feat
Is the information in the BG3 wiki correct, that the Actor feat gives

"Your Charisma increases by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Your Proficiency Bonus is also doubled for Deception and Performance checks.
Note: despite not mentioning this in the tooltip, the character also gains proficiency in these 2 skills if they didn't have those proficiencies yet"

while the Performer gives

"Increase your Charisma by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Gain Musical Instrument Proficiency" ?

If so, why would anyone take the Performer feat?

One gives you Deception / Performance bonusses the other one let you use instruments in the first place.
My fault, I thought "performance" included musical proficiency. Thank you.
With my bard, first run, i take this two feats. Love music and deception :D
you would take the performer feat to play instruments, if you want to do that.

Your Charisma (Performance) check determines how well you can delight an audience with music, dance, acting, storytelling, or some other form of entertainment.
Performance is more a matter of stage presence. Playing an Instrument still requires the specific Instrument proficiency. Just because I have good Stage Presence doesn't mean I know how to rock the E-Guitar, and me being able to play the Drums doesn't mean I can entertain a live audience with it.
