So I just found out you can skip fighting the entire infirmary after the Zhathisk fails. Enter turn based mode directly after the conversation. Somehow beat the ghustil to the door and arcane lock it. She will aggro you. I stashed her body in a box before the lock spell expired.

If you pass a check by pretending the machine destroyed your mind, she never goes hostile in the first place.
