Ring of Arcane Synergy questions....
https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Ring_of_Arcane_Synergy

If anyone else has tried using it, I'd like to know:

1. When it says spell casting modifier, which spell casting stat does it take from? Does it just go with whatever the highest caster stat is, or does it depend on which attribute the cantrip itself casts from?

2. If a cantrip can hit multiple times in one cast, like Eldritch Blast or Acid Splash, does it give +2 turns for every instance of damage that occurred against enemies, or just 2 turns flat for the first instance of damage with a cantrip.

Those are actually both really interesting questions. If you test it out and find the answers, please report back (or add it to the wiki).

I only get 2 turns, even with multiple eldritch blast hits. It should be the spellcasting modifier for the cantrip being cast. If you have two instances of the same cantrip for some reason (like high elven firebolt, which uses INT vs. sorcery firebolt, which uses CHA), it will be from the version of firebolt actually cast.

Interesting choice. I always used Diadem of Arcane Synergy on Warlock not ring. Cause there are always too many rings you want to wear and not too many hats :)

Ah, darn. So you'd have to repeatedly set up the bonus then. I was thinking it would be really cool for an Eldritch Knight/Warlock build to set up multiple turns, then just go to town with multiple Fighter attacks.

Do you know if you get 4 turns in total if you meet the conditions for both the ring and diadem on the same turn?

You probably don't need it at all. Usual warlock applies condition or uses cantrip at least every other turn.

I suppose so. I'm assuming that reapplying Hex after an enemy dies also triggers the diadem condition then?

diadem triggers off literally anything at the moment, if u look to the left itll trigger, if u walk 2 feet itll trigger. its got the dumbest conditions in the game rn as it procs off anything.

Yeah, it's impossible to play music with diadem cause it triggers and music stops.
