Gale disappeared

So- am in act 3. Defeated orin. And gale has just disappeared from existence but the game still says his in my party. So i can only have 2 champions in my party instead of 3- which is fun cause i have to fight gortash to progress the story...

basically if i try to add someone to the party they tell me to remove someone yet when i look at my party it shows my character, astarion and karlach.

hmm. Maybe he fall in the chasm during the fight? Withers doesn't propose to revive him?
Anyway you can load previous save I assume.

he isnt classified as dead. his profile is literally gone. i can long rest, but i cant teleport. i cant add another person to my party, and if i reload. hes there till i go to the reach, then he disappears again.
