Steam Sale -- Not Even A Fiver Off?! Lame
See topic.

I've been waiting to just save a tiny amount on getting BG3. Very disappointed they couldn't even take £5 off it after all the success. Sigh.

No GOTY vote for you.

I'll take 10%! I just never buy a game full price, ever.

I get where you're coming from, in 12 years on steam I paid a full price for a game maybe 4-5 times.

No discount? Then I'll gladly spend 60 bucks with many other better indie games while my middle finger stays up ;)

Decency? Being grateful?

You are right but they don't owe us anything though. In my opinion I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a small percentage off when a another huge game like Starfield has 22% despite selling really well (don't really care about that game but my point still stands) but I can wait longer if I have too!

Steam 'sales' seem to be getting worse every time. Most of the stuff on 'sale' are junk games. Those that are not are usually available at a discount on GOG, Humble, or other outlets more often than they are on Steam.

I have 3 games I am tracking here on Steam. Older ones. Not a single one is discounted even 10c.

So, no $$$ from me this 'sale', Steam. :(
I have 100 games in my wish list, about 10 are discounted and they aren't even discounted decently. Used to be in the older days, I would buy 3-5 games without fail. This is another year where my wallet is safe. The "my wallet!" meme is dead. Steam Sales suck now

No one would want your vote to begin with if you can be bribed like that. Well. Maybe Diablo 4 would want it. Or Overwatch.

saving where you should not. its out for several months, i really dont understand people who wants to play this or that, but are waiting for sale and always whine about it how its unfair that there is no sale and some other bs...

this game a simply a masterpiece, i got it on GOG 3 years ago, and then got the Collector's edition (Steam) last year and now i ordered Deluxe PC Box. Larian are my new Black Isle/BioWare these days and they deserve every coin i could give them.

im not poor but im not rich either, but i dont save on such a product.

Just walk around for a couple hours, you're likely to find that amount on the ground.

This is the type of game you play full price because part of the enjoyment is being able to talk about it with other people. I have a few games I wish I was there for at release because of how much discourse there was.

Why would they be grateful towards the people who didn't buy their game and not the ones who did? Seems kinda backwards.

Sales on Steam are to make more money (because developing games takes money), not as acts of charity.

To allow more people to join in with their success. I'm not asking for the world, but not even taking part in the Sale whatsoever is... boring and lame.

If they give a discount this year I'd expect a tiny one after winning Steam GOTY to try to grab the last few people on the edge.

I believe DOS2 had a tiny sale after winning Steam awards

It's a shame, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who has not noticed this too, as I do not buy many games full priced unless I really want it
only game that is ("good") over 50% off on my wishlist is disco elysium
as much as key resellers are looked down upon, i might just start buying from them if the sales are this ♥♥♥♥ around christmas
