Recruiting Karlach after killing her.

Just a weird thing i figured could be a bug, but i started a new evil playthrough and ended up killing Karlach outright early in the story since she's a goodie-too-shoes. But after completing about 90% of Act 1 i went back to her corpse where you initially first meet her and revived her for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles and she was hostile so i merked her again. Picked up her corpse dropped it in camp and revived her once again but this time she wasnt hostile and i was able to recruit her. Not sure if anyone else happened to do exactly this lol just figured it was pretty odd.

I usually cut her head off so I can get the reward from Mizora , I don’t think I can Rezz her after that lol

I believe as long as an origin companion wasn't killed by a dialogue choice, it is still possible to revive them, or withers keeps their soul stashed. I think only Astarian and Gale have options for dialogue kill early on? could be wrong.
Karlach might need to have the head cut off for wylls quest to be able to fully die

yea she does, i didnt bother with that bug since i ended up talking to her before the people that wanted her head. so i didnt get the option to take her head from her corpse. and then i also killed those people right afterwards

You mean you chose the option to go against her, and then initiated combat.
What i mean is actual special dialogue actions that kill characters

Thats a little weird the game actually lets you revive Karlach after killing her...i wouldn't know cause never go that route cause Karlach is too precious to be harmed, she must recieve only love after all the suffering she's been put through.

But speaking buggy revives, i had a moment where i had Lae'zel in my party and met the githyanki at the bridge north of Wakeen's Rest, i wanted to see if it was possible to fight the red dragon and kith'rak, so...logicly, i fireballed the entire group of githyanki from atop the bridge, and i was ready to just Rain Justice From Above on them, i even made sure i wouldn't hit Lae'zel...the red dragon and kith'rak literally just...blinked out of existance(guess no massive exp for me, its not possible to kill that dragon) thats the best way to describe it.

Anyways...Lae'zel did NOT like my plan and turned hostile when i hit the rest of the githyanki party, she was the last one i bonked(partly because she's Bae'zel and didn't wanna hurt her, and partly cause the adamantine heavy armor i made for her made her an incredibly tough cookie)...the revivefy scroll did NOT work on her no matter what, even Withers could not bring her back. So i had to do a major load to like...half an hour prior to that and give up on my plan to just bombard the githyanki and their dragon...not like i could kill the dragon anyways. So at least to Lae'zel, if she's hostile when she dies, you can't revive her, must be that githyanki pride.

i suppose there really are many many options of choices to take in the game huh...
