XP rates needs to be adjusted
Atleast on tactician difficulty. Its just weird to enter act 3 and basically be lvl 12 with all characters. I get the lvl 12 DnD thing, but atleast give us the option to adjust XP rates.

Lvling up your characters and being excited to see what new abilities they get is part of the charm for an RPG. You kinda lose momentum if you run around without zero room for improvement for hours on end.

they messed up the level range entirely, game has 3 sections but your character development ends 2/3 way through
i assume they just said "♥♥♥♥ it" and didnt care enough to work on it and let the modders fix it, doubt we're getting these adjustements when they release the complete version

That idea does not apply with D&D

No leveling solution is ever going to satisfy everyone. No cap? Hard to balance end-game. Cap is hit right at the end? You have these new skills that seem cool but you have no chance to use. Cap is hit somewhat before the end? Level-up-addicted RPG players (all of us) feel "cheated" by no longer getting meaningful EXP. Enemies float to whatever your level is? Whole game starts seeming like a treadmill, where leveling becomes meaningless.

Some games just don't have leveling at all. (Hitman comes to mind.) Possibly that's actually a better solution, except that's not what RPG gamers are trained to expect.

consumer unsatisfied with actual issue with game moment. clever only works if you're you know, clever

I'm actually fine with how it's implemented in the game. Lots of multiclass builds require level 12 to be complete, and I'm happy that I have almost a whole act to play my finalized characters and see how they turned out.

I am just asking for a slider to adjust the XP rate. It won't even affect anyone elses gameplay at all for people who just want to play the game as it is.

What I know is mnost people have no problems with teh XP rates. What I also know is modding is a thing if you need to tailor the game to your needs.

Because YOU are disatisfied does nopt mean the game needs to change.

i wonder will milestone work. i got a friend who play the character that try to avoid combat and danger. he end up quite under level at act 2 and he just tune down to story mode to make the game easier.

or mix milestone approach, when you approached certain location, you get auto level up to certain level but if you already over that level then don't get the level up.

e.g. act 1 after land on beach lvl2, act 1, found grove lvl 3,

Dude, you're the first to p[ost about this, statitiscly most people don't care or are fine with the XP rates.

Also if Larian (or any studio for that matter) listen and imp[lemented every single thing teh community demands not only we'd have feature creep and the game will be liek Star Citizen, a neverending mess, but it also would not be instantly better, it might even get way worse.

Bottom line IS: Mods and cheats are doing exactly whjat you're asking for. Use that instead of demanding more work from devs.

Act 3 is more focused on gear in this respect from my observation. There is a reason I believe they cap at level 12 . In 5e at level 13 casters would get some spells that would be really difficult to balance. The game is intended to focus on story and gives allowances for things to be missed. Given that variance is rather broad, a sizable number of people are going to find one or more aspects to generous.

You're the one engaging with me and yep, broi, you can trust me on statistics because if it is not the only thread about this the last one has been buried so deep that no one cares.
