Flameblade
Why is the weapon not finesse? It should be reported to Wizard of the coast, a normal scimitar is a finesse weapon and use the Dex stat. But obviously not the spell Flameblade which is a magical scimitar.. and that is odd and really strange and just annoying in a dual wield Dex/Con Druid build.

It's not actually a scimitar. It's a magic blade of flame. Pretty sure all versions of D&D have always treated it as a spell and not as an actual sword or scimitar.

The spell Flame Blade was made before Shadow Blade. Shadow Blade is how all such "summon a weapon" spells ought to work, but they haven't updated them yet.

Larian should take the initiative here and just make Flame Blade work in the same manner as Shadow Blade.

The BG3 WIKI lists the weapon as a Finesse weapon, but does not provide a graphic for it.

So, no idea why your Flame Blade weapon item is not showing as Finesse or giving the Dex bonus (are you sure you are not getting the Dex bonus)?

And, I am assuming here, that you DO have Proficiency in this type of Weapon. :)

Yes, I am a drow race without sunlight sensitivty so got Proficiency in it. I think the main issue they refuse to add finesse and light weapon on it. :)
I tested it with 16 Str + 18 Dex and just went +2 Ability score improvement instead of dual wielder which get +1 Ac which is really nice, but for test purprose. And with flame blade I got +5 to hit instead of +1 since I had 8 in STR which means -1 damage. So in BG3 they calculate flame blade with Druid Prof. + Str stat.
