Game keeps crashing

Yesterday, my game crashed.

I'd just returned to Last light Inn from the GithyankI Creche, after clearing that questline out.
Headed back, sold my loot, headed out to get on with Act 2, heading to Moonrise Towers.

Game crashed after a fight.

Today, load up again, luckily there was a autosave about 30 mins before when I fast travelled from Mountain Pass and Voss comes visits your camp.

Loading up that autosave today, I get to Last light Inn, talk to Dammon for Karlach's quest - then I save and it crashes. had to verify files and then I had to reinstall the entire game.

Load up again, saves are ok - start from that autosave again. Head to Last light Inn, talk to Dammon.
Decide to long rest again to see if I get new dialogue with Karlach. End the day, crash.

I don;t know what to do - it will crash regardless, whenever a save or autosave will happen. I;ve sent all 3 crash reports to Larian. but what do I do here?

My game been starting to crash aswell, just jumped from the mountain pass to Underdark and it crashed like 3 times already..

For me the game crash when i save in act 3

to me it crashes pretty much all the time.... please let me know how to fix it.. i tried almost everything i think

Pretty much if you're crashing at all, Big 4 to check are graphics drivers, OS drivers, verify game files, graphic settings. Are you using mods? All these make the difference. But if your specs are not up to par then you're out of luck.

Mine crashes multiple times since the beginning. Started with NVidia crash notice so I downloaded new drivers...crashed again multiple times then new drivers were available 2 days later and same old scenario. Waited 1 week and another new driver was available and it lasted 2 weeks with no crashes until today (3 crashes)

PC specs definitely up to par.

It happens when saving, using vanilla - not modded as its my first run through. I'm currently 75 hours in and this only started happening 2 days ago.
No nVidia crash notice, no new drivers and was working fine the day before. Now when I save it crashes, that's not a driver issue, or a specs issue. It's a clear writing error when saving, and affecting multiple people.

I had a spate of crashes, and simply rebooting my PC cured it. Worth a try.

This has been happening over 2 days-ish. Multiple reboots inbetween :(

Run the verify game files. If you still have a problem, ensure your saves are backed up (steam cloud would be ideal), close steam and uninstall the game using OS app. Restart steam and re-download the game.

my game suddenly started to crash as well, in Moonrise Tower while exploring the first floor before fighting Ketheric. I had unlocked a door before, and when entering the room the game crashed the first time, afterwards each time after reloading that save. I had to go back to a previous save to avoid those CTDs. Hasn't happened again since but I'm no so sure anymore about the stability of the game.

I have tried this, and the game was re-downloaded after the 3rd crash.

Oddly , I think it may be to do with the Shadowlands area? It's only when I try to save there.
I really don't want to have to go back to an earlier save.

My game also started to crash, after more than 200 hours, since 2 days ago. And it didn't do it at all like that before. I'm in act 1 of my new run, and after like 5-10min it crashes. I loaded saves from my previous runs, it does the same, crashing, be it in act 1, 2 or 3 doesn't change any thing T-T
And no mod on my game, no problem on other games, just BG3 all of a sudden

Very odd, I'm also running a 3070ti and have only crashed a couple times. I dropped my graphic settings to medium mostly because I don't care about quality too much just performance. I've crashed a few times in act 1 but since then I haven't crashed at all.

This has been my issue exactly, and Ive tried experimenting saving at camp rather than out in the Shadowlands and it doesnt seem to work either.
