Karlach breaks the wall
I can't recall where I read this (well let's call it) 'rumour' that there is a scene in the game, triggered by nobody seemed to know what (v. convenient), in which Karlach breaks the fourth wall. Has anyone encountered this during their game play?

Her being quite obvious self insert of some writer since she acts like a millenial and speaks in modern slang as well as having no bad sides or character flaws what so ever is already fourth wall breaking enough.

The only 4th wall breaking thing I remember was when talking to the Pixie.

I had read something about Karlach breaking the 4th as well somewhere, but i haven't experienced.
Unless people mean, like mentioned above, the fact that she talks a bit in modern terms and speech.
But then again, a lot of characters in BG3 speak in a way thats more accessible, and thats understandable in a DnD setting. Not everyone needs to talk like Withers, just because you're in some fantasy "supposed" medieval age world (as if a fantasy realm could be measured against Earth human history epochs lol)

if you youtube the scene you can find it, it was extracted from the files, but no one has organically figured out a way to trigger it afaik.

There is no way to trigger it unless you mod the game. Anyone saying they encounter this without modding is a liar.
I watched it on Youtube. It's worth it.

My friend's first ever playthrough was as Karlach. She said the whole thing feels like the devs are huge John Byrne fans.
