If you don't say there is a traitor, she will ask you to go find the artifact. A clear indication that she doesn't know you already have it. But if you do say there is a traitor, she immediately says that you "are known to be carrying the artifact".
it can just be divine intervention: their queen probably knows who has it and roughly where it is, as well as who is inside it and what they are up to.
To me the only flaw is not strip searching you regardless. If you are innocent, no problem... if you have it... they win.
The Githyanki and the Githerazi [less aggro Gith culture of monks] base all their training around psychic abilities.
between act 1&2 you can sometimes be gifted a psionic detector so the gith also have magical devices to detect and effect psychic energy based skills and auras etc
also since the gith queen is almost god-like, she has avatars and her own paladins that she gives special powers to. so any of her commanders could have a special boon granted by vlaaakith herself to detect the device, since they were all tasked to find it, makes sense.
major spoiler the device itself is gith so vlaakith definitely knows things about it
The captain doesn’t learn this right there, she’s already been debriefed about you, probably multiple times. Once she realizes who you are you are at the top of her list of potentially having the device that is her primary objective at the moment.
All over the crèche you see evidence that they put a lot of work into intelligence gathering. There are some questionable narrative moments in the game but imo this isn’t one of them.
I mean, it aint always druids being homies. From how it seems, they were a tight knit group of druids who didnt like outsiders.
I havent played the class yet, but it would have been nice to do that interaction if your druid worship came from sylvanus or whatever
yes, but its not integrated fully. I am not sure it should be a warm welcome, since you are not part of THEIR circle, but its a random mix of not knowing or caring that you are a druid (explaining things that you know, like the ritual they are doing, etc) at times and full realization ([druid] says this line) at other times with no consistency.
