"Secret" Reward from siding with Nere - item name is "Mel" what is it?

I watched a video with all dialogue options with True Soul Nere, after freeing him from the cave in.

In one scenario player sided with him, and got completed quest "Free True Soul Nere" and a reward from nere.

As you can see Reward Item is called "Mel" But I can't find a reference to it ANYWHERE, and video creator isn't responding.

Any idea what is it?

It's a parasite.

Anyway, I just did this. I was trying to get him to quit the absolute and failed one time. The thing I got was called "Gift from the Absolute" or similar, but it looked exactly the same, and once I accepted I had 1 parasite.

That's a fabulous idea - Larian should have given all parasites a name!

its effectively making up for not killing him and taking his parasite. Just like you get a bonus bundle of them when siding with the goblins, and thusly not killing their leaders and harvesting them.

If you kill him afterwards, you get 2. And if you convince him to ditch the absolute, you get a crappy dagger, unless you kill him after that.
