Spoiler. Saving Ravengard
Last playthrough he was dead in Iron Throne, and because I couldn't possibly go to inauguration, because everything in Wryms Rock was aggro'd, I thought I'd do it next time.

Not sure why he's dead this time, even though Omelium asked me to save him. I believe Wyll went up to inauguration as Mizora asked.

I never took Wyll there either.

Will he be dead if I don't agree to her contract?
I would normally answer "try it and see", but since you have had all this trouble already, the answer is that you can sign or not the sign the new pact. Although Wyll assumes he is trading the life of his father for the freedom of his own life, that's not actually true. But it does make saving the Duke more complicated.
That's not entirely true, either.
If OP continues from the saved game where he already entered the Iron Throne before talking to Mizora, then she will offer to resurrect Ravengard as you find him dead in the Iron Throne.

If you speak with Mizora as per usual then you can still save Ravengard in the Iron Throne, but Mizora will kill him the next chance she gets (which doesn't happen during the course of the game).

I will use an earlier.

I can go to the Iron Throne, I've passed the check with sub captain guy.

I wrote that down to her bigging herself up to save face. ;)

There is literally nothing stopping her from doing it after you finish the game. Yes, the clause technically specifies that Ravengard dies due to an enemy of his but Mizora allying with one of his enemies would be easily enough to get him killed. Especially since Wyll loses his powers and is no longer capable of stopping her.

I'll see if I can get a few more. I'm sure I've got one or two - and Knock if I can get them.

At least 2 characters have Dimensional Door.

Maybe. I genuinely do not care what happens to Ravenguard after the game, and not condemning Wyll eternally while making an effort to save the old man seems a better option, even if she gets her revenge later. He could die from falling down the stairs too, after all. :D

On the other hand, keeping Mizora as your queen for Wyll, reputedly lets him go with Karlach to Avernus to ensure she wont be alone there if convinced to return.

I agree, I just think people who think that Ravengard is saved if you break the pact and rescue him from the Iron Throne are coping.

Which makes no sense and seems like an oversight. Wyll is pacted to Mizora and Zariel. Why would Zariel let Wyll fight her other servants in order to protect Karlach (while providing his powers to do so). After all, Zariel wants her back so much that she sends other devils after Karlach.

He did that in my game and I'd broken the pact.

Also maybe explain how you managed to aggro everyone in Wyrm's Rock before attending the inauguration...?

To me that sounds like half your problem right there.

I killed the 3 Steel Watch and Iron fist before the drawbridge was lowered. Everyone inside was aggro'd. I got 1 character to the far side and to Waypoint. Killed pretty much all The Steel Watches in Baldurs Gate, but can't be bothered this time, I'm already Lvl 12.

Ah. Murder-hoboing has consequences. 🤣

I admit I've not done the Raphael fight yet, but I think this this rescue mission and the House of Grief(think that's where you fight all the Sharan's) fight are the hardest bits of the game to do.

Because it was my second time doing it, Orin was a piece of cake. The only time I've fought Gortash, he never got turn.

Wow. I struggle with Gortash more than any other fight.

Maybe it was different in my game, since I couldn't go to inauguration - I don't know.

He was right at the top of the Wrmms Rock. I may be wrong he didn't get a turn - he may have Dashed toward me. He certainly didn't damage anyone.
