The Blood of Lathander
So I stumbled upon this nice looking morningstar Blood of Lathander and thought why not take it and well.. lets say it caused a little bit of collateral damage..

I would like to know how you can disarm this trap thing for my next playthrough. There was a slot beneath the socket where the mornignstar was but I have no idea what you are supposed to put inside.

Can someone please tell me which item I need for this. I don´t mind spoilers.

Above the creche is a whole building full of fun things to explore. Among those things is a room with a puzzle to solve. Solve the puzzle (or bypass it) and get the thing.

ETA (spoilers): There's a burial room with a bunch of the monks from the monastery and their preferred weapons (a broken stained glass mural on the floor shows you). Put one of each weapon type on their tombs (they will glow if correct or be bounced off if not) and there is a hidden panel that opens in the room with the disarm item.

there's a detailed walkthrough on youtube. but there are multiple ways of getting it.

Hm ok. I did explore this area but I must have missed this.

The important thing is to notice the slot just below the mace pedestal.

I solved the puzzle on my first playthrough but still had to Indy my way out of the exploding temple because I failed to spot that little interactable area :P.

Hm ok. I did explore this area but I must have missed this.

Ah ok thanks for the spoiler. I totally missed this and just grabbed those weapons without even thinking about placing them all there even though my character mentioned how this sword suddenly stopped glowing.

You can complete the puzzle in the monestary proper above the crèche. It gives you something to disarm the trap.

Alternatively just destroy the power sources that charge up the trap in the allotted time.

Or just let the whole thing blow to smithereens.
Ypu gotta put the bells in the towers, the water under the bridge, the cat in the cradle, the bats in the belfry, the steeple on the church, then you put your left foot in and shake it all about, turn around thrice times nine whilst placing your left pinky on your nose...

...then grab it and run.

Hmm interesting. I had the same idea but couldn´t reach those crystals since they are protected by metal bars. Maybe I should have tried something with an aoe like that a fireball.
