so yes paladin gives all weapon proficiencies.
Same for barbarians rogues sorcs etc that multiclass into Fighter or Paladin
But I have to respec and start as Paladin? I can't start as Bard?
You don't lose anything in Bard anyway by taking it first or later
Yes and no, but that doesn't matter since you can simply pay a visit to Withers when you want to bring in Paladin levels and respec starting with a pally level first. Voila heavy armour prof etc.
Guys, I am trying to get greatsword proficiency, not heavy armour proficiency! ;) As for respec at Withers, I am committed to a non-respec playthrough.
