What kind of slime is in the moon towers?

In the castle you can see some kind of cobweb from the door, which goes from above and there is a question mark. Where to look for this?

That is literally the answer: go up the ladder in the room next door, and look where it is coming from. I don't know what else to tell you. You need to pass check of some kind.

Okay but why it is not eay to do so? I mean what is prohibitting you from climbing up the ladder? Becaus you did not give much to go on.
