I tested a few things though: You can acutally get as many portraits as you have party members. Just talk with Oskar again with someone else and he will draw a new painting each time.
First I thought "fine, I can savescum and just let him paint everyone once" but noooooo, whenever you go to camp, the paintings get randomized again and the WORST part of it: The first painting you got (for me, it was Gale) will overwrite all other paintings after leaving camp. So now I have a total of 5 Gales and 1 Jaheira and as soon as I leave camp again, I will have 6 Gale portraits. Leaving camp again will result in 6 Wyll portraits, etc.
You can't even collect 1 of each D: a bit sad about this tbh.
This is just crazy :D
How hard would it be to just give us a painting of our character? You can get a whole statue made of yourself. Well, I guess the statue bugged out and changed positions and clothes but its still me.
The last time I bothered to complete this quest, the picture changed back and forth from time to time from my one of my party members to my TAV (and back again). I never figured out how that worked or what caused it to keep changing.
Has anyone considered this is what makes him such a "great" artist?
