Shadowheart Cleric Domain Change

In my runthroughs of BG3, I've been keeping Shadowheart as a Trickery Domain Cleric. However, I had her spare Nightsong in Act 2 and forsake Shar. With that being said, should I change her Cleric Domain from Trickery to something not related to Shar? Thanks.

Life is good if you want to using heals during combat. Light fits the lore since she turnes to Selune. Tempest is very cool if you want more of a caster, especially nice if you have a tempest sorcerer or a wizard using a lot of lighting spells.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. I will probably go with Light for the lore fit.

I recently did that switch Shadowheart to Light domain. It works very well, buty FYI there is a bug, it will say she worship shar and the character protrait will be her Sharran one. But for the rest the game remmebers and honnours your choices.

Change trickery to light or life asap. Trickery is awful and you will be better off without it.

That doesnt sound right, we have 12 levels in game, not 16.

College of Swords bard is pretty much a bladesinger.

You should change her domain as soon as you're able to be honest. Trickery is probably one of the worst domains out there, and by saving nightsong you've got a lore reason to do so too. Life, Light, Tempest or even War are good choices

I did 2 Wizard 10 Light Cleric made SH really strong.

Poor idea to go wizard for 2 levels, you miss out on 6th level spells. Heroes Feast is sooo good. Evocation's sculpt spells is overrated, its not needed if you aim properly.

Even if the game didn't have respec for general use, Shart's big decision should allow a respec opportunity. It's very worthy circumstances.

That said, I have stuck with trickery just because I can't be arsed unlearning her tricks.

In my experience - i definitely recommend switching Shadowheart to a different domain as quickly as possible. The trickery domain feels super weak. Maybe some people were able to make it work, those people are clearly better at this game than me. But i found it very underpowered.

You have a very underwhelming cleric then, her performance gets so much better with another domain. Just too many junk spells in trickery.
