Free the Artist quest bug

The Free the Artist quest is asking me to "Talk to Mystic Carrion about Oskar", but I already killed Mystic Carrion. He's dead. Happened to anyone else? Can I progress somehow even though this is the case?

For freeing the artist, you need the wand from mystic carrion. You either get it by doing a job for him or killing him. If you killed him, you still should have this wand.
Take the wand, use it at the artist. And the mission should be solved.

You didnt loot the torch of revocation in Mystic Carrion's room.
