That is why I do not trust people anymore if they claim they do not use mods.
That is not how modding works. Do not use what you do not understand.
I understood the mod. I didn't know it would cause the issue I ran into. I've used plenty of mods for XCOM 2. I've had to use trial and error for certain mods, either because of conflicts or issues with the base game, for that as well.
The great thing about doing it, is you can get one character to take all of the psionic powers, and leave the other one with only the key ones (like luck of the far realms). There's a great one, psionic dominance, which negates a spell of an attacker, that really helps at the start of a melee. You can also explore different relationship paths with your different characters. So now I'm playing with two custom characters, and my two companions are Karlach and Gale.
This has nothing to do with mods though. Just starting up three instances of BG3 on the same PC, and starting a co-op game.
