Tharchiate Codex bug

I found the Tharchiate Codex. It's in my inventory. I've read it.

But the quest still says "Find the Tharchiate Codex"

It also doesn't update the questlog after actually using the codex ?
Questlog not updating 100% of the time sounds like an absolute minor issue. Posting here doesn't help a thing.
You could do a Larian bug report but I'm pretty sure this one is allready on the list of lowest priority.

It's not just that the text isn't updating - I cannot proceed in that quest because it never recognized that I have the codex. I've read it and the other book several times, no difference.

I'm having the same bug here, actually this is the only place I see any information about, but I didn't find any solution to this.

This is a common mod issue.

I have never used any mods and I reported it months ago.

It gets worse. If you're using a concentration spell (Like enhance ability, or Divine protection) This effect will prevent that spell from producing it's effect on you (I like to use Bear's Endurance for the psychic damage buff from my ring). The Tharchiate Vigour effect will prevent this from working. The only way i know of to get your spell's effect is to get rid of the 20 temp hp.
