Help on using the Zaith'isk
I went to the inquisitor first so when I got to the Zaith'isk I had to kill the entire room before using it (but nevermind that I guess, since I could sit and pass all checks while on the chair)... Trouble is... How do I know that I got the "Awakened" buff? Because I cannot see anything in my stats that shows it. How do I make a test to see if I got it (and not being debuffed instead)?

its listed on your character sheet, it says you earned it because of the zaith'isk encounter

just go to your inventory screen and scroll down on the left side under your stats
