Ghustil runs away after machine breaks
I am in the crech scene doing the Zaith'isk and on another file, before patch 4, with my friend we did that scene and we were able to talk to Ghustil and convince her that the parasite died. Now on my personal file after the machine breaks she instantly runs away and becomes hostile with the other githyanki in the infirmary. Is it random if she runs or not? OR did the patch disable that?

I've never experienced her doing that. Maybe it depends who goes in the pod? Was it Laezel?

Same here, she's not in the cut scene for me and the dialogue isn't triggering and she just runs away. This seems to have popped up with this new patch.

no, i put my character in. And when I played in my other file with my friend it was the same. I did it but she spoke

Same. Tried reloading several times and from different points, and switching characters. I submitted a bug report for it about an hour ago. Going to make a new character for the time being while I wait for a fix, would really prefer to NOT kill a bunch of Gith youths.

Same. Didn't get the option to deceive Ghustil into thinking the parasite was dead to get her to stand down. Oh, well, she and her posse have to die eventually anyway.

i agree, lol. I mean I did read an article that the whole crech doesn't find out but I don't wanna take a chance. Wonder how long it will take before they fix it lol, guess I will do another file.

Wait - don't they always end up aggro? Not at that point, but after meeting the inquisitor. Is there a way they can remain peaceful? I realise you can just leave w/o fighting them. Or do you not have Laezel and skip the inquisitor?

So in my file with my friend and we did the scene, we did not have Lae'zel and she did not run away or get aggro. And it was before we went and saw the inquisitor. Now that I am in my personal file she instantly runs away, without trying to convince her of anything, and runs away to go into the infirmary and the githyanki (and her) become aggro when you lockpick the door and leave. None of this happened in my friends playthrough we did

I also had no option to try to talk Ghustil down after breaking the machine, but I figured out another solution to avoid aggroing the whole creche: When Ghustil tries to run off, immediately jump into turn-based mode, and kill her before she can reach the door.

Will the rest of the creche find out that she is dead? And do you get anything if she is dead, on her body?
