PATCH 4 PROBLEM: ITEMS INVISIBLE IN CONTAINERS

I meant they were still there, just to move my mouse to scan them which's rather inconvenient

It's from patch 3, not new just scroll up and down or leave camp and return again

I have this problem too. None of those things work lol
I don't mind scrolling my mouse over items, but this is annoying.

This just started for me with Patch #4. I had no issues with Patch #3.

I too am having this issue. The "fix" methods described above didn't work for me either. By chance do any of you have "mods" installed? (I do! Plenty of them!)

I'm assuming it's either "Bags Bags Bags", or "Better Containers" that is messing with this. I've tried removing them, and reinstalling them both. (Both simultaneously, and individually with no success.)

I have mods too and the ones you mentioned. I also did the same with uninstalling with no success too. I've sent a bug report to Larian. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon? Ironically, I had trouble with the arrow UI but that seemed to be fixed immediately.

I also went to an old save in my previous campaign and I can't see any items in the containers there too.

Have you downloaded the latest versions from Nexus or reinstalled the old ones?
Idk about "Bags Bags Bags", but "Better Containers" was updated to be compatible with Patch 4.

I uninstalled both the Bags*3 and Better Containers again and reloaded an old save from my previous character and found it is the mods. I can see the items again there lol orz

You just need to update them after every patch, then everything works :)

I found out, it's the Better Containers mod. I just reinstalled the Bags*3 mod because my current game can't run without it.

Yes I have tried updating BOTH mods. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling BOTH mods. I tried installing one, but not the other. Unfortunately nothing has worked for me

Can you describe your mod update routine?

So, I just got it to work. I MANUALLY uninstalled both mods, and then reinstalled them through Vortex. Once Better Containers is installed in Vortex, you must assign it as a "Replacer".

Congrats : )
One note though - it's best to use BG3 Mod Manager for modding the game. Vortex has been known to have issues specifically with BG3. But it's totally up to you, ofc.
