I deactivated all my mods in Mod Manager to test and had the same issue, so it can only be Script Extender...

I'm using the one that says "latest", is that not the one? https://github.com/Norbyte/bg3se/releases

lol you cant just dissable mods and keep playing on current save... save file contains info of mods ... either you replace used mods in that save or start new game

I can't even get into main menu properly with or without the mods enabled. All the buttons disappear as soon as I get into the menu. I'm doing a complete clean install now and try again, if that doesn't work I'll go back to my backup of the previous version.

if you update you need not only updated SE but also update your mods

Everything works perfect on my end with patch 4 SE and updated mods

Only mod from my list that isnt working is "WASD movement" (that still needs update)

Yes should work with latest. Make sure to also update ImprovedUI.

I reinstalled everything except Mod Fixer, which I suspect was the issue... that one went under the radar because I had installed it without mod manager, so mod manager also didn't disable it. And it hasn't been updated in ages, so most likely the culprit. Game runs fine now with everything else, and it seems Mod Fixer isn't needed anymore anyway.

Mine is still installed and I don't have any issues. It says last updated 8/31/2023. A lot of people thought Mod Fixer was the culprit but after updating Script Extender and ImprovedUI my issues went away. I won't remove Mod Fixer cause I have mods that require it.

If you're using a decent amount of mods, chances are at least one of them has its own mod fixer built-in. BG3 Mod Manager has an icon for mods that include their own so it should be easy to tell.

Yeah I can see that but if I remove Mod Fixer and some other mods don't have it built-in maybe it'll cause issues so I better leave it.
