FSR 2.2 Released
Anyone try this on their Deck yet? I'm downloading it now, but I'm curious on what people's specs are for running the game smoothly in Act II and III. Are you still using Proton Experimental? Any Decky upgrades worth taking? CryoTool adjustments?

FSR 2.2 does not help game at act2 or act3 at all because FSR does not make your CPU faster!
All test has shown that quite weak GPU will run BG3 very well! (So no help from FSR), but you need very powerfull CPU to run this game smootly!

just out of curiosity, was there a consensus if the CPU issue was single thread performance or having enough cores for multiple threads? Couldn't reproduce the issue that well myself, but if I remember correctly it looked more like single thread performance from side glances at CPUID (which isn't that much of an accurate procedure ;) )

It is combination... You need rather fast and modern CPU to run the game. So fast single thread and 6 or 8 cores...

Any idea what CPU is needed for 1080p low settings smooth ACT 3? I have very old rig (i7-4770 & RX5500 XT) and currently I'm running 30 fps capped without hiccups in ACT 3. Didn't want to take the risk for capped 60 fps cuz I had a severe crash with Vulkan before patches (currently using DX), that forced me to uninstall/reinstall my GPU drivers. Thinking of trying 60 fps now with DX.

Performance on Steam Deck has improved quite a bit with 2.2 on the Performance setting. Hopefully Larian makes a formal Verified update as they did for Divinity: Original Sin 2!
