Is there a mod that fixes the races?
What i mean is a halfling should not be able to have as much str as a orc, and elves are not fat monsters of constitution. Not sure who decided that nonsense, but all races 1000 percent should not have the same stats at all.

In the spirit of the context of your post, I am not aware of one that matches the 3.5 racial attribute sets like you are referencing here.

Thank you very much.

People who designed a system to give you the freedom to make what you want, without gimping yourself or forcing you into particular races.

Women also shouldn’t have as much strength and dexterity as males. It’s a fantasy game with house rules. Real world realities don’t need to be included in the game.

Has nothing to do with real world realities, has to do with picking races has a meaning. Your one of those people who like games where every characters identical, zero choices, and you can chew on the keyboard, pick any option and still win. I prefer choices that have meaning and make it hard to decide which to pick.

That has nothing to do with freedom, and races are gimping yourself they are balanced and you had to choice what strengths and weaknesses you wanted. People like you are gonna have DND games reduced to nothing more than a tell tale game like the walking dead, where all you do is pick different story options.

Um... so don't play a halfling with high str or an elf with high con?

This is a very silly thing to complain about. No one is FORCING you into anything here.

I mean, you can always change your stats accordingly when creating characters.

Even in systems with defined racial stats (like Core 5e) there is nothing stopping me from making a 20 STR halfling if I wanted (eventually).

5th edition removed the ability to have insanely high stats, while making it so you could still have a high number in your most "ideal" stat line. in pen and paper 3.5, you could roll all 16s and make the most amazing anything out of that. 5e returned to a point buy system so you could have 1-2 high stats, and the rest of them average or worse. this prevents early game hard min/max, while still giving a character its most important stat line. earlier editions had buffs to specific stats with a minus in another, but there was no cap on any of those stat lines. an end game barbarian could have 500 hp gear and wicked stats, while hitting like a truck with a sword one size category larger than them. there have always been potions and elixirs that improve stats or effectiveness, but they have changed over the lifetime of DnD. if you dont want to have that ridiculous high number, dont use the perks and benefits that provide them. they have always existed, but havent been acquirable until a specific stage in the game. in bg3, you can access a few goodies that maybe should not be available as early as they are, i can agree with that, but nothing says you couldnt happen upon a character in pen and paper that made things of that nature and had some hidden away for an emergency situation.

You go ahead and limit your playthroughs, I'll keep having fun in this fantasy game.

Imagining a world where magic literally shapes reality and getting bent out of shape because a small man is strong

Some people is not capable of letting go of stereotypes.

I agree with OP, I like the old school constraints on fantasy races, the whole generic race thing that is happening since Tasha's is lame. That said, I just stick to the Old Ways when creating my Tav.
