Cursed skull -.-
Sorry for the rant, but this is kinda crap, it turns out they are "vulnerable to bludgeoning damage" actually means you have to kill them with fire. Wth? -.- Hitting them with the Blood of Lathander does nothing, they are immune.

At times like these I feel a bit annoyed tbh. I'm doing the Examine thing and reading everything and yet what you have to actually do has nothing to do with the information given to you in game. What you need is on reddit -.-

If that's not enough, you have to use the RIGHT fire spell, not just any. Blast them with Fireball: win. Blast them with Scorching Ray: Immune.

Logic?

Yeah, they're weird. But! Remove Curse works!

I just used Lae'zal with her greatsword. It's all about doing more damage than the skull's damage resistance.

Don't they just have an effect that makes them immune to damage if attack deals less damage than 10/12?

This. They are not immune to damage, they are immune to low damage attacks. Hit hard enough and they take the damage.

-edit at above
It says either in the hit reports or on the effects somewhere. I saw it specifically mentioned ingame, I just don't remember where it was. It DOES tell you, though.

The skulls have "greater toughness" that means that if you do not hit a damage threshold of 50 or greater, the attack is nullified.
They are vulnerable to fire damage I believe, so they take double damage and you need to do at least 25 fire damage to hit that 50 mark to break them. You can do this with Firebolt or stronger fire spells.

Fireball outright kills them. Scorcing Ray as well i guess.
