It is not hard to mod.
Vortex is known to cause issues, so it is always better to do it without Vortex.
If you use Mods, just view the game as still in "Early Access" and may need a full wipe and restart at any time.
Mods are currently not taken into consideration when Larian updates BG3 and you use them at your own risk. They can literally destroy the ability for the game to run and completely invalidate any Saves made while the Mods were active.
Both of those are mods that require special install methods, much like party limit begone.
THose are mods that literally change game files, not add new ones.

1. Download NativeModLoader, extract the zip, and put both bink2w64.dll and
bink2w64_original.dll in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\
When Windows prompts whether you want to overwrite the existing files, say yes.
The beginning of the path might differ if you installed it on another disk or if you have the GOG version.
2. Download this mod, extract the zip, and put both BG3WASD.dll (the mod) and
BG3WASD.toml (the config) in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\NativeMods\
If the NativeMods folder does not exist, create it.
3. Put SDL2.dll from the mod zip in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\
and overwrite the existing file!

Download, extract and place NativeCameraTweaks.dll and NativeCameraTweaks.toml inside Baldurs Gate 3\bin\NativeMods\
Put the content of this zip file into the bin subfolder of your game's folder. Done.

The top orange bar with a lot of different options under your mods section will have a deploy button (with 2 chain links looking icon next to it.)
Easiest way to check if they are deployed is to then go to the load order section. If they are in there with a check next to them they should be good to go.
I've never had problems with mods using vortex, or because of updates Larian makes, but I don't use any that really mess with the game files much. Just some added item mods, and a few cosmetic ones (like more hairstyles.) Not really messing with added feats, classes, spells or game mechanic stuff etc. till the game is pretty much done being patched.
