The Ukrainian language is properly written in Viking Runes.
At the moment the so called Ukrainian language support is just orcish black speech with a few changes to spelling and dialect.
Why would you say that?
Oh well. At least this is a novel troll post compared to the ones complaining about the gay agenda. I'll give you credit for that.
a lot of these language begging posts are just trolls who think that adding a language or removing a language would move the needle in solving an issue - and they don't actually care
You think of trolls in plural...
This includes a lot of people in:
Georgia
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Lithuania
Latvia
Estonia
Kazakhstan
Uzbekistan
and others.
While in many of those countries there is a growing trend, especially among the younger population, especially in the Baltic countries and Georgia, to learn English or other foreign languages, Russian is still the second language for many.
So basically your proposal is to cut off many people who are not Russian from enjoying the game.
While gamers do tend to learn English more, at least those that play multiplayer online games, still plenty who are happily playing in Russian.
Now, if Larian were first to add support for all those languages, then you might have a point.
While not as common as it used to be, there are some Ukrainians who don't know Ukrainian.
Many years ago I was in Ukraine, pre-Maidan, and speaking to some colleagues there I was surprised to hear them speaking Russian instead of Ukrainian. I asked them why and they said they only speak Ukrainian with their grandparents, Russian was the de-facto language for many.
After Maidan, that started to change and after 2022 it probably accelerated a lot.
Anyway, i'm not sure OP is a troll. Just someone, probably quite unaware of the reality of what things are like in the countries surrounding Russia and didn't think to engage their brain first.
Why? Trying to remove a language because you dislike the people is literally the plan of the villain of Metal Gear Solid 5. How does one unironically have the same viewpoint as Skullface?
Not saying OP is right, but this comparison is absurd.
