Need Help with You have two hands for a reason Achievement
Hello everyone,

Need help with this achievement. Don't know what i'm supposed to do.
I have Scrath the dog and Owlbear cub in my party since act 2.

I pet them both.
I pet them before i sleep...nothing.

I was hoping for some cutscence to play at night...nothing.
I ended up finishing my playthrough without getting the achievement.

Any advice?
What am i supposed to do to get it?

Thx in advance!

Achievement currently only works if you DO NOT have animal speak potion/spell active. Which is kind of funny, cause only with potion/spell you're able to actually pet them both at the same time, as achievement suggests. But anyway, next time make sure you don't have/remove that buff.

Oh and if you didn't get a cutscene at all, then probably just another bug on the long list.

I think they fixed the "you can't get this achievement if you have speak with animal on". However, the only way to get this achievement is during a specific cutscene. It happens after you long rest and both cub and scratch are in your camp. You wake up and hear whining animal sounds, choose the option to check on the animals. (There is an option to ignore the animals, don't do this if you want the achievement.) Make sure both are ok, then pet Scratch and then pet the cub. (Srsly though, you should be scratching them both at the same time. Just saying....)

Now, there are issues with cutscenes being skipped if you don't long rest enough. Especially with romance cutscenes. If you advance a relationship beyond that cutscene enough for the next one to pop, when you long rest, you'll only see the most recent one. If it's a MSQ cutscene (Voss coming to camp, Mizora coming to talk to Wyll, etc) you won't get the fluff one if both pop at the same time.

Yeah, it can ONLY happen after that cutscene where you wake up and the animals are whining. If you go over to see what's wrong, and then pet Scratch, and then pet the cub, up pops the achievement.

No. I got it last night and had the spell active.

I got it when I got the scene with both Scratch and the owl bear, with the owlbear having the nightmare that woke my character up. I went to check on them, went through the scene, then pet them both at the end of the cut scene and got it. The option actually is to pet them both at the same time.

I mean, it COULD apply to the drow scene if you have Halsin in the party, but I'm sure you'd need more than 2 hands for any achievement there. =D
