Name change - Magic Mirror

For unknown reasons, I can't change my name in the magic mirror. Has that not been implemented yet altough it said it is possible in the update? Hilfe.

Can you guys name-change? If so - How?

Playing as the Dark Urge, does that exclude mah precious butt?

Can you change ANYTHING on the DU at the mirror? If no, then it does apply to Dark Urge. If you can change other things, then something else is going on.

I can change some cosmetic stuff but not the name

Probably a bug or an oversight on Larian's part. I would take a screenshot and submit a bug report. Describe how you can change some stuff, but not the name. Bet it is fixed in the next Hotfix. :)

No Dark Urge isn't restricted, I just now checked. When you go to the mirror now however I see "The Dark Urge" as the name. I forgot to try but I think maybe if you make a cosmetic change it will revert the name. That would be slightly annoying.

Yeah, that is what happend to me.. And it is apparently across the entire save folder. So I got an involontary name change which I can't undo.

Hmm going to try right now to make a cosmetic change and see what happens.

I don't think Saves have anything to do with it (unless you are using Mods). The initial description sounds like a bug in the Mirror code.

Yep name will change to The Dark Urge automatically, just filed a bug report.

He may have saved after the name change and I could see there being a bug not allowing a second name change post save.

How could you ever know? Since the new bogus name will always be the same new bogus name.

I'm not going to save in case this is a bug but I can totally understand not realizing the name got changed then saving the game before one does.

The odd thing is that it effects -All- the saves of the character, I can go in and look at much earlier ones and they're all effected in the same way
