If Larian will implement a feature you'd have to send a request directly to them. The biggest factor with requests, if it makes sense for the developer to put something like this in the game, If they have the resources to devote to creating a feature and if it fits the theme of how they want the game to play. It is a reasonable request and since there is open modding for this on the nexus, its clear Larian is open to suggestions from the community. Even if it never gets implemented you might find such features from the modding community.
I know some of you would rather have developers focus on bug fixes and other things. Its very important that we understand we are a community of gamers with a billion requests. And the developers will make the game they want first. Just don't come on to the community page and kick everyone else's ideas and requests to the curb just because you don't like it or feel the game doesn't need it. The developers decide what the game needs, not you.
The only place I've seen this break is on the level up screen, since that shows your actual equipment(including headgear) regardless.
Sure, the developers decide what the game needs but wouldn't you say that the consumers should be able to voice their wishes for a product that they enjoy and care about? I'm not "demanding" it from them, I'm "requesting" it. While a request might be a bit demanding as well, I do feel as if I'm entitled to request features as a paying customer of their product while they are free to either consider it or ignore it. And I haven't dismissed or invalidated anyone else's idea, I'm simply arguing for why I think this is a feature they should prioritize in upcoming patches.
Considering how much time I've spent in Heroforge to make the "perfect" mini for my Dnd characters, this simple feature would add a lot of value for people like me and I do feel like creating a cool look for your character is a big part of the Dnd experience.
Yeah, I am definitely getting it. I'm a bit worried about using it in multiplayer, however.
Why? The ones I have used are purely visual.
Speak for yourself and don´t like you represent a majority when only a few people agreed.
I certainly don´t need such a feature.
You need transmog because of bad armor design and ugly helmets.
I must admit that I've yet to see a fantasy game where the design is so good people won't need transmog at all.
My endgame team looked like Beast Wars Transformers party. Ayy lmao.
And let us wear boots in our camp outfits. There are so many boots that seem expressly made to be used in camp outfits, but you can't do it. Big shame.
Please explain further how a game can be "ruined" by a transmog feature :P
There was an election last friday, did you not get the email?
