repeat after me
"no"
here you go
because it is not human, no work, no matter how fantastic, manages to be completely alien to the culture of which produces it. You feel annoyed in the game for something that reflects the real world, the game doesn't "invent" it. probably if other games don't bother your sensitivity it's because they reflect your vision more but then it goes without saying that other people might be offended for opposite reasons.
therefore I would say that it is inhuman to expect a game to be offense-proof, I would say that it would be better for everyone if we learned to tolerate what we don't like and enjoy the rest.
Oh, the irony! Physician, heal thyself!
Etc.

Or maybe your point is just bad.
ikr. All these conservatives trying to make themselves the victims because the game allows people to actually have the option to be gay or bi or whatever. It's sad and cringe how these people can't see the irony.
It is not like we all know that Larian fixed Gale around the beginning of september (one mont ago).
Please go tell every woman you've ever known that the only thing she has to do is tell men "no".
See how that goes. You might need to find a woman first.
The problem is that a bunch of wilfully ignorant virtue signallers equate ppl saying, hey I barely spoke to this character and they come on to me in an immersion-breaking over the top way as something-phobic. The "relationship" part of this game is poorly written and reportedly written all by one person. But every time anyone brings it up they get gas-lit.
What ppl don't understand as well is that when you "defend" this under the banner of being "pro-LGBTQ+" all you do is reinforce the idea that hypersexualization and LGBTQ+ go together.
Do you feel better for painting everyone in black or white and twisting other ppl's arguments in a clearly disingenuous way? Is this "progress"?
