The Blood of Lathander
I had Shadowheart using The Blood of Lathander but when I got Selune's Spear of Night I gave it to Shadowheart to use and now the mace has disappeared. I checked the bags of every companion I have at this time and I checked my camp chest as well as any other bags and chests I have and found nothing. I know I did not sell it as you cannot sell legendary items and I know I did not drop it on the ground. Does the spear replace the mace or did the game bug out and make me loose it?

The spear does not replace the blood of lathander, so if you didn't drop it on the floor on accident it's probably a bug.

Has to be a bug, my last campaign I also had both. Maybe you accidentally right clicked on it and sent it to camp?

I've had a couple of items randomly vanish. Super weird.

Try reloading the game. That fixes most of the bugs of that nature for me.

A little late, but try sorting your inventory as this could just be a visual bug.

Could be in your inventory without an icon, has happened to me a few times

Good point. I have noticed that for some reason, the game will put items way down in the bags. Either scrolling down or sorting will find them.

TBoL has a pretty inconspicuous icon, I too thought I lost it when I realized its icon is really anticlimactic.

dont forget you can write in the searchbar in inventory

Well it turns out that at the end of act 2, while on my way to the exit to act 3, I was ambushed by some people and they somehow disarmed Shadowheart and I didn't notice.
Good news - I made a manual save just before I entered act 3 so I was able to go back and get the mace.
Bad news - I had to restart act 3 from the beginning again, but that is ok as I didn't get too far into it. I just finished entering the city gates before I went back.

I did the same thing, but she kept both. Although I did end up leaving the mace in the community chest at some point.
