Bug in the House of Grief (when Shadowheart dead)

Alright, way back at the beginning of my adventure Lae'zel and Shadowheart had a argue I missed the ability check and they decided to fight in the morning. In the night shadowheart attacked Lare'zel and I had zu choose. I chose Lae'zel and killed Shadowheart. I could not revive her by the Wither (I think because it was a story death).

So here is the bug: When I got into the House of Grief I talked to Viconia in the Sha temple under the house. Viconia and my companions talked about Shadowheart as if she were still alive. Even my conversation options were only like "no I dont give her to you" or "Ok I go and get her"
I could not choose to say that she is dead or something. So I think its a bug or the path where she died and you meet Viconia dont exist. dunno.

Have you put some thought in that maybe, the only thing in that is shadowheart being alive, and as if you go on saying she is dead is so stupid that you dont even an option to do so ?

Well she is dead because I killed her on my own. Her lifeless body was laying there and I could take her stuff. So yeah she is dead and I couldnt revive her because this was a story decision.

Sounds like an oversight from Larian, that they did not expect someone to actually kill her.

Could be but cant imagine they forget something "big". Its Kind of interesting

Same thing here, I have reloaded the autosave before entering the house of grief and I guess I'll wait for an update before going there again

I actually submitted the bug to Larian's website, I hope they fix it before I finish the game but if not I'll just kill everyone down there I guess :')

They did forget something that big unfortunately. I don’t have Shadowheart either (not dead, she left ages ago). I ended up saying ‘I won’t give her to you’ Then killed them all.

I killed everyone down there to "correct" this bug on my own xD

Killing mother superior during the bugged shadow heart death makes everyone turn neutral and claim Shadowheart is the new boss.

There's quite a few occasions where deaths of origin characters are not recognised.

I had something similar. Shadowheart left my party because she didn't like something I did. The options for the conversation with Viconia didn't fit that scenario so I just said she died. After that she said she would be an ally but she never showed up on the ally list.

FYI Larian got back to me and asked for my save files to investigate the problem :)
